Jutka hozta a videó linkjét a csetbe, Patti a Robra vonatkozó részek átiratát és fordítását szállította. Én meg eddig halasztgattam a posztolást :(

James Gray: Rob did great, by the way. But I’m, as I said genetically engineered to be an accountant in a stable, so when you put me at a 100 degrees, in a 100% humidity and bugs and the whole thing, and snakes and crocodiles and all that. I was a ridiculous, I never told Rob this, thank God we’re months now passed, but there’s this scene in the movie where they’re pushing the raftes in very shallow water in the Dandiego? river where we were shooting and at one point, close your ears Rob, I see this thing run up the side and ’ah, it can’t be a crocodile’, so I called over the, one of the Colombian guy we had, who were btw terrific, and I said ’there aren’t crocodiles in this water?’ he says ’No, nothing like that, nothing, nothing’. You know, where this is going. So, we do another take and I see the God damned thing. I mean, I’m like, that’s a crocodile, call the guy, crododile. No-no-no, it’s not a crocodile, it’s a black cayman. So of course I get up on the phone, I look up black cayman and it’s like a variety of crocodiles are considerably more fearsome and dangerous than this tender Florida crocodile. I’m like, that’s the worst news I’ve ever heard. So that was bad. An insect with Charlie, who’s now in Montenegro, couldn’t be here (jungles of M), don’t ask me, but he was like, late two hours to set one day, and he was never late, so I said, what’s wrong? And then I hear that he has had an insect crawl in his ear and it started to eat his eardrum. That was week two, and it kind of went downhill from there.

JG: Rob nagyszerű volt, egyébként. De én, akit arra terveztek, hogy könyveljek egy istállóban (itt lehet, hogy nem istállót mond), szóval amikor engem kiraktok egy olyan helyre, ahol 100 fok van, 100%-os a páratartalom és bogarak vannak meg minden ilyen, és kígyók és krokodilok meg ezek. Nevetséges, ezt soha nem mondtam el neked Rob, hála Istennek, hogy már hónapok teltek el azóta, de van ez a jelenet a filmben, ahol nagyon sekély vízben eveznek a Dandiego (?) folyón, ahol forgattunk, és egyszer csak, csukd be a füleid Rob, megláttam ezt a valamit felfutni az oldalon, és azt gondoltam, áh, ez nem lehet krokodil. Szóltam az egyik kolumbiainak, akik egyébként nagyszerűen voltak, és azt kérdeztem, ebben a vízben nincsenek krokodilok, ugye? Mire azt mondja, nem, semmi, semmi. Tudják, merre megy ez a történet. Szóval volt még egy felvétel és megint látom azt az izét. Ez csak egy krokodil, gondolom, szólok a srácnak, hogy ez krokodil. Nem-nem-nem, nem krokodil, ez egy fekete kajmán. Szóval fogom a telefonom és megnézem, mi az a fekete kajmán, mire ezt olvasom: a krokodilok egy jelentősen félelmetesebb fajtája és sokkal veszélyesebb, mint a békés floridai krokodil. Gondoltam, ez a legrosszabb hír, amit valaha hallottam. Szóval ez rossz volt. Aztán egy rovar Charlieval, aki most Montenegróban van, egy nap két órát késett a forgatásról, pedig egyszer sem késett, szóval megkérdeztem, mi a baj? Aztán hallottam, hogy egy rovar bemászott a fülébe és már a dobhártyáját rágta. Ez volt a második héten, ezután csak rosszabb lett.

RP: I couldn’t really have had more of an immersive experience, it was just, even the story of it, we had to do too much work, I was just in a crocodile infested river

I: As you know now.

RP: Yeah, I know, I found that out on the last day when there was a flesh flood and about 30 came in, all came in. On the last day, yeah, we were stuck on the sand bank surrounded by vicious cayman and arber? vipers in the trees.

JG: I didn’t know that. During the flood? Last night?

RP: Yeah, you could see them floating by. Totally oblivious.

JG: The scene that Rob, by the way Rob, I have to say, I haven’t seen you in forever, I love what you did for the film, it’s like a ratio??? 18:23 of yourself in a great way, it’s logeral??? by the way, we’re just gonna keep complimenting each other on the stage and you can watch. The scene that he’s talking about is a campfire thing between Charlie and Rob where they’re talking about and it seems like the first trip is going all to hell and we had shot the, or I think I shot the close ups and I was gonna go back for the medium close up –

I have to tell this story now, you know (oh no), I’m telling the story!

so we were shooting the close ups and the water was starting to rise and they said, ’oh the river is going to flood the whole set’, we were on the banks of the river. And I said, yeah, I’ll take some time, let’s finish shooting the medium close ups. ’No-no Mr Gray, you really need to leave the set now, now!’ And I look over and literally the river is going like this (emeli a kezét). There was a rainstorm up in the mountains and the water came down and the set was overtaken by the river two minutes? And people literally grabbing stuff, running away and now I hear there were caymans.

RP: Nem is lehetett volna ennél magával ragadóbb élmény, már csak a történetet hallani is, rengeteget dolgoztunk és egy krokodilokkal teli folyóban voltam.

I: Ahogy most már tudod.

RP: Igen, igazából az utolsó napon rájöttem, amikor az áradat volt és kb 30 darab jött belőlük. Az utolsó napon, amikor a homokos parton voltunk körülvéve harapós kajmánokkal és viperákkal a fákon.

JG: Ezt nem is tudtam. Az áradás alatt? Az utolsó estén?

RP: Igen, lehetett látni őket lebegni a vízen. Őket nem izgatta a dolog.

JG: A jelenet amiről Rob, egyébként Rob, el kell, hogy mondjam, már rég nem láttalak, nagyon szeretlek azért, amit tettél a filmért, mintha egy részedet adtad volna, ami nagyszerű, és igen, most egymást fogjuk dicsérgetni a színpadon és önök ezt megnézhetik. Tehát a jelenet, amiről beszél az egy tábortűznél van, aminél Charlie és Rob arról beszélnek, hogy úgy tűnik, már az első útjuk meg fog semmisülni, és leforgattuk a közelieket, és vissza akartam menni a közepesen közeliekhez (biztos valami filmes dolog ez) – (itt a srác széke összeszakad)

Ezt a történetet mostantól el kell mondanom!

Tehát forgattuk a közelieket amikor a víz elkezdett emelkedni és azt mondták, hogy ’oh, a folyó el fogja árasztani az egész díszletet’, mivel ott voltunk a folyó partján. Én mondtam, hogy egy kis időt még adjanak, hogy be tudjam fejezni a felvételeket. ’Nem-nem Mr Gray, azonnal itt kell hagyni a helyszínt, most!’ És oldalra néztem és láttam, hogy a folyó így emelkedik (felemeli a kezét). A hegyekben vihar volt és onnan jött le a víz és a díszletet vagy két perc alatt elárasztotta. Láttam az embereket, ahogy kapkodták fel a dolgokat és most azt hallom, hogy kajmánok is voltak.
